Hi Guys

Just read on UK news about long queues at EU airports on leaving due to additional security checks.

Does anyone know of problems when entering/leaving Fuerte or is it business as normal.

Thanks as always

Keith

Hi Keith, there is another thread with basically the same idea. I asked that question just yesterday but have not heard anything yet

aparently new rules come in to effect in October, but there is nothing to worry about, its not like the UK is going to do more than they are now, they are already doing everything they can, and for spain etc they dont give us the special treatment now, you just get your passport checked that it is you sorted, same as every other country.

think about it, are we about to become more of a risk ? nope, we just decided to leave the EU as they where telling us what to do all the time and dont care that it was us that fought for european freedom and allowed them to do that, we just woke up and realised we didnt lose all those people in a war to let the germans tell us what to do.

it wouldnt have even been a issue if labour hadn't have signed us up to closer ties without telling us "we can no longer democratically vote against EU treaty" we never signed up for that and YES I voted for the labour closer ties, just didnt know about the lisbon treaty that meant they basically rule us without question.

That is all neither here nor there !!!
If much more rigorous passport checks have to be implemented by October then will we have additional delays when travelling to/from the Canaries.
Simple question really !!!

Simple answer to that is yes we will. And we can expect more of the same in other areas as Brussels will undoubtedly try and turn the screw even tighter as leaving negotiations progress.
