Hi. I understand there is a hardware shop in Rosario (not Ideal) but I'm not sure where it is. I think it's somewhere behind Lidl? Can anyone advise? Thanks.

DaveW

There is one on one of the back roads behind Ideal. I think it is one block behind and two blocks down the hill on the right. Sorry I don't know the name of the road.

Thanks Dave, we'll have a wander down there later in the week.

Joan, as WG says Saavedra is very good. Nothing is priced instore. Instead you can check on the scanners placed around the store. Also, some hardware, like high value locks, water boilers etc are handled at the counter. Just ask. The manager speaks fairly good English if your Spanish is not up to asking for a thing-me-jig.

Think DaveW is referring to La Boutique behind Ideal. Once you come off the roundabout at Lidl, instead of turning right up to Ideal, just drive straight ahead. It is on the right hand side at the very bottom of that road just before the junction. good for most things I have found.

It's actually on the road up the side of Ideal so head up towards Ideal and turn left straight before it.  :)

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]

I had to look on google maps as I never remember which road its on. The other one is TeleVSat, the satellite and hi fi shop, usually end up driving round trying to find it. :D

Thanks very much for all your advice. We had a walk round and found both of those, plus another one and managed to get everything we needed.
