That's not good....This is our favourite beach on the island. I always leave the car in reverse with the hand break on....just in case!

I saw the helicopter heading that way and thought it was probably a swimmer in difficulty, glad it wasn't.
Canarias 7 have some good pics but I couldn't lift them from the pdf to put on here. They report that the female driver (!!) forgot to put the handbrake on, but was out of the car when it went over.
However, I was talking to a local fireman today who attended the incident and he said the driver was nowhere to be found and the police were investigating whether the car had been stolen and deliberately pushed over!
Have to check the time of the incident against the latest reports from Jand - it might have registered as a quake!
