Furniture from UK

Has anyone had furniture transported from UK or is it better to purchase out here?
Just concerned about arriving and not having beds etc

Purchase in Fuerte. There is plenty of choice and delivery is quick and easy. There is even an Ikea.

We opted to ship furniture from the UK, largely because we had stuff that we particularly liked, and because some items had sentimental or antique value. We used Woodside following recommendations on here, and could not fault their service from start to finish.

HOWEVER.... if you do not have particular attachment to your stuff in the UK, there are some very good suppliers here in Fuerteventura such as Norty Sur and, of course, IKEA. Prices are pretty good, and many things such as electrical goods are significantly cheaper due to lower taxes. You could always arrange to ship minimal essentials, and buy 'replaceable' items new here!
