Does anyone know if they still make Edesa boilers if not, the nearest to them.Thanks

Try Foncal at Mattoral, over on the left as you are travelling towards the Airport. I always found the main criteria was finding one with the same bolt hole centres, otherwise you end up with a wall full of holes.

i've heard so many time's the short lifespan of these boiler's, 2 to 3 yrs ? .....so, may i suggest you try what installed getting on 9 yrs ago now, and that is an "undersink thru' flow water heater" it will run hot water for as long you have the hot water tap on, in principal it work's almost the same as an electric shower and is about the same size, hence, it fit's perfectly under the sink, i've had no prob's whatsoever since i put it in which was quite simple, i just connected the hot and cold feed's to the appropiate inlet and outlet on the unit, just one thing you have to do is to "beef" up the breaker on your elec board and i used the cable that fed my old 2 plate hob (my new one just plug's in) the make of mine is a "ZIP", if you go on line you'll get all the info, it's a german make and they've a factory in norfolk, they'll give a list of supplier's, whatever you do make sure you don't buy one "made in china", as far as i know these heater's still cannot be got in fuerte, you can inquire, but i brought mine over with me and the breaker also a non return valve could be worth a thought for anyone reading this, they work out a bit more expensive and complicated, they're really not, but i think well worth it

We have a small 10 liter kitchen boiler under the sink for instant hot water in the kitchen.
A large 120 liter boiler supplies the bathrooms.
Very important is that the boilers are fitted with a (magnesium) sacrafial anode which keeps the corrosion away from the boiler itself.
Should be good for ten years or more.
We got both at Marcial in Corralejo.

Norte y Sur (Bricolaje part) had loads of water heaters when I was in Fuerte during December and January, including I think, Edesa.  There are also water heaters in Saavedra, Puerto del Rosario but not sure abput Edesa ones.
