Has anyone else lost the Nitro channel (39) and the other mainly English Channel from their Tv recently?

Yes.
A number of channels were removed from TDT due to how the frequencies were sold to the broadcasters.
Courts ordered the frequencies were auctioned incorrectly, so channels on those frequencies moved or closed down.
