Holiday Let Licensing Authorities

I would like to find out who, and where, the Holiday Let Licensing Authority people are.
I, and some of my neighbors, are losing patience with some of the owners of the 2 or 3 Villas around us on our supposedly quiet Residential Estate, that continually rent them out to "Families From Hell", who seem to leave their Brains and Respect at the Airport.
I´d like to find out if these Owners have Licenses, then take it from there.

Having no license means they don´t pay any Tax or anything into the System, and just pocket the money.

You are talking about 2 different issues here, Woe.
The subject of licensing is handled by the "Turismo" department in the Gobierno de Canarias in Tenerife.
Whether anyone has a license or not, they should still be declaring any rental income to the Hacienda. They are becoming more and more sophisticated, looking at energy bills etc., so anyone who thinks they can get away without paying anything has a nasty shock coming to them. Anyhow, if you are an overseas owner, you should be declaring the property for taxation purposes, even if you don't rent it.

Thank´s for your answer Chrisandjan. The thing is, when somebody has worked all their lives, and spent all their life´s savings on a retirement home, ( I´m not talking about an apt. in some run-down holiday complex, I don´t live in a complex ) on the "Tranquil Island", which Fuerteventura is supposed to be, It´s not right that some (not all) idiot families rent it for a week or two, and create havoc. One Villa last month had 3 rental cars outside, There must have been about 12 people staying there. ( I wonder if the owner knew that). Sometimes it´s not always the kids, the grown-ups too are worse.
I managed to find out the email address of one owner and wrote to him. He apologised profusely saying he didn´t realise, and that he would inform future clients about the situation, but nothing has changed.
My next door neighbour is Spanish, and a Company Director. He´s not happy about it sometimes.
It´s not my business if owners are paying their taxes or not. Like you say, the law will catch up with them, but it would be nice if owners would specify the conditions of staying in such a place. Also the Management Services who look after them could do more by checking on them more, After-all, if the Villas lose their licences, they will lose their livelihoods.

Its the old conundrum we have here, is it a residential/retirement island or is it a holiday destination island?. I've often spoken out in defence of holidaymakers in resorts on the coast as anyone who lives there residentially knows full well the implications of living in such a place. Different ball game in towns and villages inland. Generally properties in these places are more spread out and not on top of each other and so noise should not be so much of a problem. However it is the responsibility of each individual owner to make sure,via their management company and rental regulations made on initial booking,to make sure the quality of life of local residents is not impaired.

I will be glad if/when the tourist licences are issued as it would help keep things under control,where as now it's a free for all.
