Anyone use Orange as their mobile provider in Corralejo? What's the coverage like around the Las Americas 2 / Brisas del Mar area? I know that Vodafone is ok but Movistar can be a bit sketchy at times.. ::)

I use Orange when i am  in  and have had no problems.

Ditto.  :)

Mind you, I believe Orange use one or more local partners for service - My wife uses Orange as well and on occasion we have been connected to different local providers.

Have never had a problem with Orange. It will roam to other providers if their signal is stronger.

We're in Corralejo and both me and my girlfriend have Orange. No problems with it at ll, although I'm without a phone now after taking my BlackBerry for a dip in the pool  ::)  >:(

I never even wanted one in the first place to be honest mate. I got a good deal from o2 on an unlocked one before I left the UK and just ended up getting it. Still gutted it drowned though  :(.

Note to self - In future, check pockets before getting in pool.

Yeah sucks that it happened, I just hate blackberry's :P Should use it as a reason to get an upgrade :)

Ironically, someone's offered to sell me one for much cheapness, the same model BlackBerry  ;D

I actually got a better reception/signal and no dropping out, in Costa Calma a few weeks ago than I did near Dundee yesterday.

Orange and T mobile have joined up and are now starting to share masts, so the signal should have been better. ::)
