"ONE VOICE" Harmony Choir form Texas

After a hugely successful tour of mainland Spain, Portugal and The Canary Island in 2010 we are please to announce the return of ONE VOICE to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

Based at one of the oldest Christian universities in Texas in the southern United States of America, ONE VOICE are renowned for their unique "harmony" style recognised around the world

The choir is made up of 11 male and female singers with their conductor Matthew Crosby,

Their extensive repertoire includes historic Christian anthems through modern songs written by the choir themselves. The evening promises to be highly entertaining and great fun

Due in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in mid May 2012.

The dates are as follows:
Fuerteventura - Friday May 18th  20.30 hours, Puerto del Rosario, Auditorium Tickets 5.00 Euros
              - Tuesday May 22nd 22.30, Gran Tarajal Church. FREE admision.  A raffle will be held to raise funds - the prize a FREE weekend at Las Playitas resort!!!

BREAKING NEWS - THE PUERTO CONCERT IS ALSO FREE - the organisers are expecting the raffle tickets to cover expenses - it's a long way from Texas and it's a GREAT prize! I'll let you know where you can get raffle tickets shortly

The choir have returned to Fuerteventura after a hugely successful week end in Lanzarote. It's you last chance to see them tomorrow, Tuesday 22dn May - Gran Tarajal church at 8.30pm. Entrance free.

Did you find a drum kit in the end?

No - but it's not for this lot, it's for a 30 piece choir visiting in July!!!. I didn't get a reply from your mate - any other ideas??

He's in Germany at the moment but he'll be back next week.
I did speak to him about it and he seemed willing.

The choir is now back in Texas - it was a highly successful tour, every concert packed to overflowing. Thanks to everyone involved in making this visit the huge success it was - my special thanks to Captain Sensible, Lovely Rita, Frank from Radio QFM, et al. Hopefully they will be back next year - as young people they were a credit to their Country, State and University. The next visit is by another USA choir this coming July - this one is THIRTY strong!! More to come

Heh Glen - it was a pleasure to have the company an expert from "the valleys" there with us [I know you come from Bow!]. I think next year you should organise a visit from your local Male Voice Choir
