Health and safety gone mad.

A while back Mrs Swordy and I purchased a new steam iron.  Included in the safety instructions was the following, "Never press a garment whilst wearing it".  We both laughed at the lunacy of such an instruction. But then a few days later we laughed even harder when we went to collect our grand daughter from her house and her Mum had a dressing on her leg.  When we asked what had happened, she told us that the day before she had noticed the skirt she was wearing was creased so she decided to iron it while she was wearing it.


We can all laugh at silly instructions, but just remember that there are some "Special" people out there who need them.
