Does anyone know why the planes are taking off over Caleta?

As far as I know they always take off and land into the wind. So when the wind is from the south they take off over Calleta. When it is from the north or north east they take off over Rosario

Absolutely spot on Pegtree, a southerly wind is  not the prevailing wind on This island, it is North Easterly, so it does not happen often

When they take off to the South, you know that rain is on the way.

The prevailing wind over Fuerteventura is normally from the North, that's why they don't often take off over Caleta.
