Cofete Bus Fare Rise?

Back in March when I used the bus to Cofete, it was â,¬2.50 each way.
A friend just told me that he heard a rumour that the price has risen drastically to something like â,¬8 each way.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

To answer my own question .....
I emailed Tiadhe for info re prices and got a very quick and comprehensive reply. Well done Tiadhe, I'm impressed!
I wasn't quite so impressed with the new prices though:
Sin Bono: 8.70â,¬
Bono Btf sin personalizar: 8.30â,¬
Bono Residente: 2.60â,¬
Bono Familia Numerosa General: 2.05â,¬
Bono Familia Numerosa Especial: 1.30â,¬
Bono Social: 1â,¬
Probably still good value, but â,¬2.50 to â,¬8.70 in one go is a rather large 248% rise. Still .... I got 40 cents off with my Bono card.
Fare is double the above if you want to come back, but I didn't as I wanted to walk north along the beach then head up through the pass into the Barranco del Pecenescal.
It's a brilliant walk. After El Islote, I didn't see a sole until I reached the FV-2.
