Doing some relaxing on the beach today when three helicopters passed, 1 carring an army 4×4 and the others flying in formation. Anyone know if this was army training or filming for the Brad Pitt movie. I recorded it so if someone can let me know how to upload it, I will  8)

There were actually 5 helicopters and they were going round and round all day. Also heard a lot of 'booms' a long way south of us so I'm guessing there were military exercises going on, perhaps inland from El Matorral?

The Spanish Army Base is on the other side of the mountain from my house in El Matorral, opposite the airport.

Helicopters fly over my house on a daily basis on their way to the desert training grounds just south of Ajuy on the west coast . The "booms" will be from there. In El Matorral, all you hear is rifle and machine-gun fire.

If you drive south of Ajuy, you will see signs "Zona Militar".
