The rehabilitation project Wolves spring and has positive environmental report of the State and, therefore, the Port Authority can out to tender for execution.  The council says it is insufficient because the rehabilitation of the pier but its expansion is not only necessary.

The Ministry of Environment has given the green light to the project of rehabilitation of the pier of Isla de Lobos, using the three vessels that lead to the island at an average of 200 tourists a day.  The works do not involve the expansion of port infrastructure, but only the rehabilitation and refurbishment of the dam to improve the berthing of vessels and to facilitate access on foot visitors.
