A man 65 years of age and Polish origin, has died after drowning at a beach in Cofete, Fuerteventura, according to the Emergency Coordinator and Security Center 112.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon on the beach of Cofete,

Until the arrival of medical helicopter of the SUC, a person who identified himself as a doctor at the scene found that the man was in cardiopulmonary arrest and underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
