disgraceful, i call ins co.s "white collar gangster's" rip you off taking your money but allway's excuse's not to pay out any claim's, and even your own brit embassy rep's don't want to know and could'nt give a s....t.

I know it sounds harsh, but it seems the Insurance Company Inspectors have done a good job with their background checks, and saved the company £5000. Probably get promotion.

If the guy had not missed his hospital appointment in the UK, after complaining of stomach pains, they probably would have cured the problem, and he wouldn't be in the predicament he's in.

Lesson: Don't take Insurance Inspectors ( and holiday rental inspectors ), for fools.

Why ever did he miss his hospital appointment, surely if him and his doctor were concerned enough at the time to arrange for him to see a consultant he should have attended.
Why didn't they use their EHIC card and receive treatment paid for by the UK government?
Oh of course it's somebody else's fault. HTT step in and explain please
