Hi all.  Has anyone booked/ could recommend a one night stay in a Jandia hotel?  We looked at a few but they only did 3 nights online ....we are staying in Corralejo but wanted a one night stay at the 'other side' of the island for a change.   One of us is a vegetarian, so wanted somewhere that we get a veggie choice of food / or just b & b within walking distance of restaurants ..thanks in advance

We stayed at H10 Playa Esmeralda in Costa Calma. We stayed 3 nights, but they do 1 night. Booked on line. Fantastic Hotel, great food buffet style, so just leave out the meat.

Another great thing, 40 mb fibre-optic wifi.

Thanks Woe10

I had noticed there were good deals in Costa Calma, but we have been there before ...We were hoping to try Jandia as it seems more lively and walking distance to Morro Jable (hoping to have a look around there too.)

Have you tried Sol Jandia Mar? Good location for walking to Jandia Playa or Morro Jable (old town).

I will give it a look.  Have you stayed there sun lovers, what did you think of it?

Go to booking.com and take your choice. No bad hotels just some better than others. Eat out in Moro Jable, Cabra Nostra, Bodega De Jandia (huge range of tapas from Galicia) Fisherman's Co op, all very good.

Hi Bally. Yes we've stayed there 5 times previously and have found it to be an ideal base. Everything you need for a sc holiday - although we only have breakfast at the apartment and eat out every night - great choice of restaurants serving really good food in Morro Jable and some in Jandia Playa.

When we go to Morro Jable for the weekend we always stay at Alameda de Jandia and have never had a problem with one or two night stays

There is an article in this months Fuertextra about the off road bus service to Cofete and Pinto Jandia that you might find useful.  Preferable to a risky drive in a hire car and only 5,00 Euros return

Thanks Spike , I was up for the bus ride but the better half thought it would be too bumpy / hot and an uncomfortable journey ..it was 40oC
last week in Jandia !
