As it's getting towards the end of the year and Form 210 has to be completed has anybody actually submitted their form on line rather than take it into a bank? I have completed the form but cannot see how to obtain a digital signature and submit the form.

Have a look here if you want to get a digital signature:

However much easier to complete the form print it off and pay by cash before the end of the year at a bank.

That's what I usually do beachlife but I cannot get out again this year so thought that I could do,it all on line.  The link doesn't mention the form or how to submit it. Thanks anyway.

Once you get a digital certificate I believe you can go to the AEAT site input your digital certificate details and select the form from there that you want to pay tax.

However to obtain a certificate it will mean you will have to make a visit in person to a tax office so you would have to make a visit to the island anywhere ( for this first year to obtain the digital certificate) you would then in future be able to use the digital certificate without being on the island.

You could download the form and complete the form from here https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es/es13/h/ie02100b.html?idi=EN
Then get someone who is visiting to pay for it at a bank for this year.

Or you can get a company to do it for you such as this one http://www.taxesonline.es/

http://spanishtaxforms.co.uk/page/1on0t/Spanish_property.html Will present the form for you and are cheapest. They also suggest and I quote ;

"I'm not going to Spain again this year, how do I pay?

You can arrange for somebody to present the forms on your behalf at any major bank in Spain or you can contact your own bank and ask them if they will accept your forms by post or email.  Alternatively, we can present the forms for you, pay the tax and send you the receipts for you for a charge of £10 per person."

Thanks again beachlife, it was so easy when we did it all at the Hacienda. :(

Are there certain banks that will take the payments. I've filled in my 210 form on line and have printed them off. My own bank Sol bank would not take the money last year. Is there a bank in Caleta that will accept them?
Thanks

Strange I and others (who do not bank with them) never have a problem with taking the forms into Solbank in Correlajo.

You may have got an awkward employee (one of the reasons I left Solbank years ago). Try again and if you do have a problem, ask to speak to a manager, I believe all banks are suppose to accept the forms, but surprised if you are a customer if you are having a problem. I had a problem when Halifax needed to process the old paper form, they did not have the machinery sothey  phoned a bank opposite them and asked if I could come across for them to process it. So if Solbank will not process it, ask them to inform you where you can.

Thanks Beachlife, I always find with solbank in caleta that the girls there don't like their job lol
I'll try again when out in 2 weeks and as you said I'll ask them if they know of another bank.

Solbank in Caleta have always accepted mine. However she did require the old barcodes that were used on the old forms, to input the info. She then returned them to me. Last year she managed to do it without the barcodes. Give them another try.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is form 210 for?

Its the form to pay the non resident tax on a property that you own but do not let out.

Spanish tax law requires that non-resident owners of property in Spain have to pay Spanish income tax even if they have no Spanish earnings such as rental income.

Cheers Beachlife that won't affect us as we will be renting a property when we make the move to Corralejo
