You should try posting that on a popular British forum, in my experience the Brits are far worse than the Spanish when it comes to indicators.
And while I'm on my soap box, the white lines down the middle of the road on a roundabout are for driving in between, they are called LANES!

Jock, I followed a REAL one of those yesterday. He overtook me on a solid white line coming down the Rosario by-pass. I was behind him all the way to the Ikea Roundabout, never indicated once, and never took his arm in. There was a Goldcar sticker on the back, so obviously a By Racer employee. Aasshole.

I was in Puerto shopping with Mrs J, we must have seen the same one, its what gave me the idea, followed him all through town and onto the Corralejo road, no signals, arm out window all the way...On my way! Some feat of driving, must have been an automatic car....I hope....

I was driving along today and a car three cars ahead of me decided to turn left. Not only did he indicate but the other three cars did too even though they continued straight on. Can you believe it!

That's how they're taught Spike, by the Driving School. To use their indicators as a warning device when suddenly slowing down. They do it all the time, it's annoying. I thought the hazzard warning lights were for that 
Also approaching a Roundabout, they indicate left, then right when they're going straight on

Also what's the staying in the right hand lane on a roundabout to turn left all about, I have seen driving instructors teaching this.

I think it is because they have the "Prioritee a droite" rule, as in France.  This means that in the absence of other signs, if you are hit by a car from your right, it is your fault. Hence you stay on the right at the roundabout, and veer suddenly left just before your exit. The cars on your left must take evasive action or take the blame for the collision.
It works well for crossroads on country lanes in France, but we don't have those in Fuerte. It is rubbish for towns.

As a pedestrian it is good to see the driver nearest you when you start to cross using their indicators to show that there is someone on the crossing.
