Hi there

We have bought a property in Fuerteventura and we are planning to move there in late July early August. Does anyone know where, in Fuerteventura, or any of the surrounding islands, Tenerife, Lanzarote, e.t.c where we can buy a new or nearly new car. And what is required in terms od documents.?

Orvecame (Cicar) in Puerto del Rosario sell off cars from the Cicar/Cabrera Medina/Payless hire fleets when they are coming to the end of their hire fleet life - anything from 4 to 6 years. The cars are totally refurbished before being sold on as second hand. Cicar have a web site listing them, but it is not complete. Basically, if you see a make/model they rent out just ask and they might make one available, although peak summer might not be the best time for them to do this as the hire fleet is quite stretched.
