Illegal letting - new information

The Government have now received legal advice that they cannot issue fines for illegal letting based solely on internet evidence.  They must back it up with physical evidence.  For most fines already issued they have not done this so the fines are invalid and can be contested.  However, there is nothing to stop them looking for proper evidence if people continue to let illegally.
