Hi all, is it possible to get a copy of our mortgage without going thru a solicitor,

Did you not get a copy of it from the bank Sean? You could ask them if you dont want to ask your Lawyer for any copies that they are holding for you.

Gosh thats unbelievable. Did you get your original bank documents back from your Solicitors or did they keep them for you. I got all of my documents back from mine without a charge.

Did you ever have a copy? If the bank refuse to give them to you try complaining with the help of Google translate to the bank ombudsman. I can't see any reason why you would need to pay a solicitor.
