I spoke to the lady in the floating shop not so long ago. She was so proud of the cats sitting there on their comfy cushions. I hope the "sicko" gets what IT DESERVES.

Harbour cats in danger!

Over the last couple of weeks, several cats that have lived for years around the harbour in Caleta de Fuste have been found in the sea, unable to climb out. One sweet cat had been in the water all night when he was found he was in shock and suffering from hypothermia, it took the vet 3 days to stabilise him and a further week of TLC to help him recover. Now some of the cats from the harbour have gone missing. Most of the attacks on the cats have taken place at night. Please contact Muriel on 637528783 or Jenny on 0044-7958990471,if you see anyone acting suspicious or harming these cats, take a photo if possible and send it to us, we can use this in legal actions. We will endevour to identify this person & take legal action against the person responsible.

We would like to thank all our members, local residents, hotels and businesses for their help and support in this matter.
