Title: La Ballena
Post by: Mark07 on October 30, 2016, 17:33:12 PM
Opened in summer underneath the Miramar Del Castillo building overlooking the surfers beaches near the Toston tower. Enjoyed the tuna here. Guy who runs the place was Very welcoming. Went back a couple of times for drinks only, late on in the evening. Pleasant to sit out on terrace. Limited indoor dining area.

This is now our favourite restaurant in Cotillo, they have had a new menu and chef and the food, service and attention to detail is excellent. The owner really makes an effort and genuinely wants you to enjoy your visit. The battered fish is the best we have tasted, very light batter on beautifully cooked fish. Defiantly worth a visit

We were recommended to it by the apartment cleaner and thoroughly enjoyed our meal there.

The homemade meatballs were nice, service was good and nice to sit and eat outside on the terrace. Will try the battered fish next time!

Four of us dined there yesterday. The home made meatballs were very good indeed. Garlic prawns to start were equally good. Great surroundings & décor. A couple of drinks each, the bill was 90 euros.
