I read recently that the History Channel have been filming there for an episode on a series of WW2 stories.

The article says the house is owned by Lopesan Group which appears to be a hotel chain.

The film from Villa Winter appeared on the History Channel this week. It's in Episode 6 of a series called Hunting Hitler, in which a team of investigators chase the theory that Hitler's death in the Fuhrer Bunker was faked and he escaped to South America (as a lot of Nazis certainly did).
It's not the most outrageous conspiracy theory out there but the series is stretching credibility. Apparently they were only able to discover that the Gustav Winter existed through declassified FBI files..... :o
There wasn't much footage from the Villa shown, just a couple of interiors and a long view trying to make it look like no one ever goes there.

The road is not so bad now as long as it hasnt been raining or there hasnt been any land slips.  There is a 4WD bus you can get at the harbour or the bus station that leaves in the morning 10 or 10.30? and again at 2..  If you search the forum you will see details from previous posts.
