Title: ATM machines Caleta
Post by: marlowmag on June 13, 2012, 16:39:01 PM
In March this year my cashpassport card was scammed in Caleta the back up system with cashpassport is nil on monday i received an e-mail to say 140 euros had been credited to my card no explanation nothing. i have never received a letter or e-mail from them about this dispute i spent a whole day trying to contact them in Caleta when my card was declined and had to wait until i got home to sort it out.
Yes i got my money back after sending them lots of e-mails and letters buta warning to anyone using these cards check out the back up system for when things go wrong it has been an upsetting time i am not sure if thomas cook has a better system with these cards
never had any problems when i used travellers cheques be warned

It would be interesting to know if anyone has had a problem with their cards while on holiday how fast did the card company respond and sort the problem out

I once had a problem with a Nationwide card in France. They sorted it out on the phone within 5 minutes, so I got the cash I wanted and didn't miss my train.
