The last few days have felt like someone had left the oven door open!

The hot air came from the African continent.  I put a thermometer out at 1pm the other day and it reached 53 degrees (125 F).

Records have been set for the lowest temperatures over the past few days.

On Valle de Santa IƱes beach on Sunday afternoon, the pebbles and rocks were too hot to pick up!
