My four year old granddaughter is like a mermaid in the pool but I'd her to learn how to swim properly. Anyone know of swimming lessons going on anywhere?
The swimming pool in La Olivia do swimming lessons, but I know no more (sorry). However, you haven't said whereabouts you are on the island, so I've no idea if La Olivia is convenient for you or not.
If you are anywhere near La Olivia, suggest you visit the pool to enquire.

Are you looking for swimming lessons in english? There are definitely lessons available, but provided in Spanish by the ayuntamiento in the municipal pools, such as Pajara have a nice pool for kids right next to the ayuntamiento offices

I checked this out with a Spanish friend who's young son goes to an amazing amount of clubs. She informs me that the only place at the moment for proper classes is Club Deportivo Herbania, Calle Almirante Lallemand 32, Puerto del Rosario. 928 530 706. Cheers

I don't know what the pools are like up North, but if the Puerto pool isn't any good then this is the best info I could find for La Oliva.

I read it to say there are various classes Monday-Thursday 16:00-19:00, with the beginners classes starting at 16:00
Reading online suggests proper swimming lessons don't start until 6 years, but there are lessons without parents starting at age 4
