Title: Furniture shops
Post by: willie5094 on September 15, 2018, 11:39:15 AM
Where do people buy their furniture on the island, anywhere apart from Ikea. Looking for a TV unit.

Thanks
Willie

Royal Kookabura, just passed the Airport on the way to Caleta has some decent furniture made from real wood. They have a large showroom so definitely worth a browse if you want something a bit different to the MDF stuff sold in IKEA and other furniture outlets on the island.

Hi Willie5094,
There are quite a few places once you get to know what`s what. There is Kookaburra shop (a lot of hippie/driftwood/overpriced stuff, in my opinion but granted, that is subjective, lol). Then Tocu & a couple of others on the same street as Ideal in Rosario. Then Norty Sur further up & what's generally called Centroger or the green shop on the left on that same road as you head from Ideal into Rosario. There are others I have heard of but haven`t looked/found them yet. Ron

Another place to try is K Furniture. Head down from Rotundas towards the sea, then turn right at the first street. Quite a big shop.
Also try Cosco....up from 3 bums roundabout, been there and could get back to it but best to google it as I wouldn't like to send you on a wild goose chase.
