The Olivo Corso opened a few months ago and is very popular. It is located near the new harbour (behind the Aguayre cafe).

Ate there this evening. We had the tapas menu. Padron peppers were off unfortunately. Chicken croquettes & garlic prawns were all ok. Selection of cheeses were confined to two types only. Fried pork was a huge serving & we couldn't finish it. Canarian potatoes went back too due to the size of the portion. So all in all, not a bad meal but not stunning. E28, so not expensive. Nice surroundings & attentive service. Don't think we'll be going back.
I take it that is where the old Puerto Nuevo restaurant was?
That's right. It used to be the Puerto Nuevo a few moons ago.
