Title: Income tax for non-residents
Post by: djk99 on October 23, 2017, 23:04:53 PM
Can anyone confirm the percentage value for 2016 ? Tax for 2015 was based on 1.1% of the cadastral value. I'm told it's now 2% for 2016 as   cadastral values have not been reassessed since before 2005. Seems a bit of a hike for doing nothing !

I`m sure others will give you the exact facts but as far as I know the 2% is if you have an updated cadastral value. If still on the old one it is 1.5%

2% for an old casteral value or 1.1% if it has been updated in the last ten years.

Seems I didn't search well enough when I started this thread as I didn't notice it's covered in the local forms and paperwork area.  Can't help thinking life would be so much easier if the authorities would generate a bill in the first place  ;D
