Title: Endesa bills
Post by: gattaca66 on September 22, 2017, 22:18:23 PM
Bit of a strange one.... after living here three years and getting Endesa bill every month like clockwork, online, and paying by direct debit, we have had no bill since mid- July. I've checked via the 'My Endesa' ap and all appears OK, no communications or warnings, just no bill issued since July's. Nothing taken by DD from the bank account either. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I've emailed them, but of course it's now late Friday so I will not expect a rapid reply. Mrs G66 is concerned the lights will be going off...!

I'm in a similar position. I submitted a meter reading on the 18th August but was a but confused when the bill arrived (on the Endesa app) for just three days, 16-19 June, not for the period 16 June to 15 August.

Quite what is happening, I don't know but I emailed them four weeks ago and I still await a reply!

I'll not hold me breath, then! I just want to pay what I'm due to pay, but it's a bit if a concern, when there are simply no bills, no communications!

It may be like us you will be billed now every 2 months as we are, we had no communication of this, it just happens,

I'm usually billed every month as it's a smart meter, and pay by direct debit.

However, no payment was taken last month and nothing so far this month.

We have a smart meter and are billed quarterly and next bill is due in a couple of weeks time so we shall wait and see.

We are also on a smart meter and have always been billed every two months. Next bill should be due any day now.

I have had the same issue, my bill was due mid August but did not happen. I spoke to them via chat and said that the smart meter was not giving them a reading (even though it was providing an up to date reading when I log into my account). They requested I provide them with a reading so they can issue a bill which I will do when I return to Fuerteventura next month.

John - I have checked my bill the current bill is for 68 days rather than the 60 of the last bill, non of the charges have increased on my bill, hope that helps and reassures you.

Looking at my account this evening they are now in the stage of preparing my latest invoice stating the period june - September with what I believe is the correct power used but showing the same amount of the last invoice. The new invoice is not ready yet.
So I expect they have had problems with their billing system and are not owning up to it.

Thanks John, was not overly concerned, and as management pointed out we were inundated with visitors in July and August, I will have to start charging them ;D ;D
