Hi all, anyone know where I can buy a pair of aluminium (or similar) gates for my driveway? Have googled it and can't find any other than in Lanzarote!

We can highly recommend Lorenzo too. He did us a great job fitting new aluminium driveway gates, a pedestrian gate and also aluminium panels for the front wall. I think all in all about â,¬1800
If in corralejo the metal place on the road opposite spar up by central salud does them.

Thought i'd just put an update on. Lorenzo wants 1150 euros for a standard pair of aluminium gates for the driveway. Told him I thought this was expensive and he said it's the cost of materials. Have emailed 2 other suppliers (including one in Lanzarote) and neither have responded.
Only want some gates! Am i missing something here?

Maybe the price included fitting. Try tecfuer on the same estate. His number was on the original post mentioned above. Enrique will give you a competitive quote to compare. Take sizes, drawings and he should do it straight away, if not busy.
It'not all about price, though. I have seen some pretty ropey gates here!!
Thanks Archer. He is actually one of those I have emailed. Strange that these companies have a website with the facility for you to email them, then don't bother to reply! I will go and find him.
We paid over 1000 e years ago. The aluminium to make them wasn't cheap, even then. But we are well pleased with them. Our neighbour had someone make wooden gates for them at same time and for only couple of hundred euros less. They weren't on a metal frame and they warped and wouldn't close properly are a couple of years and they were scrapped years ago. I would say go with the aluminium even though the initial cost is high.

It amazes me as well, I thought metal prices were at an all time low. You can't give away a scrap car in the UK, used to get £100 for it, lol.
I was quoted anything from 1200â,¬ to 1600â,¬ for security bars for two windows & one door. I thought it was daylight robbery but all quotes I got were in the same ballpark !!!
