Post by: MandK on January 16, 2017, 15:58:38 PM
Anyone know the exact location of the medical place that does the tests for your Spanish licence ?
Right near the Trafico office in Rosario..

Cheers

Facing the Traffico office entrance, take the road to the right, down about 20 metres on the left! Not even a minutes walk! :P

FYI, Licence took 7 weeks from day of application at Traffico to arrival by post to home address, just so you are aware ;D

The test is like playing two 1980s video games, one with each hand   LOL

It took about 4 months for my new Spanish licence to come through.  Trafico blamed it on the DVLC being slow.

You are issued with a temporarylicence while you wait for the new one.

Apparently, they now have a direct link to DVLA and details are checked in real time, in fact mine was cleared as correct while I was still there, (amazing, we are at Traffico remember :o ) So it took 10 mins to confirm licence correct via DVLA, and 7 weeks for Traffico to process  :-X, anyway result as far as I was concerned 8)

That's fine for driving in Spain but no good if you wish to drive in another country, especially if you need to hire a car. My first Spanish licence didn't turn up in the post and Trafico insisted that I had to wait until it had been 'missing' for 3 months before they would start the process again! For this second attempt I asked for the licence to be posted to Trafico for me to collect. I then visited Trafico for weeks and weeks and weeks to see if it had arrived until finally I was met with cheers when I walked in one day! They do have a sense of humour (sometimes!).

Off track a bit, but does anyone know if there is a charge by Trafico for changing your address? And, do you change your address for your licence and/or each vehicle you might own? Thanks.
