any know how much private medical is

As Mooro says very much depends on personal circumstances, in the UK I was fortunate enough to have free Bupa cover provided by my employers, from the time I was 23 then when I got married at 30 this also covered my wife, untl I reached 45, when I became self employed, Bupa were aware of our Medical History, which was pretty good, and gave me a discount on my new policy, it came to £850 a year for the two of us, bear in mind that was 1991, at my current age which is 70 bupa here would cost â,¬1200 per month for the two of us, private treatment at our local clinic costs â,¬50 per visit for a consultation plus extra if they do anything or use anything.
Example:- i had what I thought was a ear infection, could not get in to my doctor for a week, so wnt to a private clinic, turned out I needed drops and a return visit  cost appointment â,¬50 examination â,¬28 private prescription â,¬18
follow up appointment and ear syringing â,¬ 75. Total â,¬171, having said that my hearing is the best it has been for 20 years + so I feel it was well worth it, but it gives you some idea, in addition if I had been a non resident, I could have added another â,¬30

Anyone herd of these

http://www.healthplanspain.com/

They quoted me 108 euros per month for the Wife and I. How do we know if they are stand up companies? Where can we find info on them?

Cheers

That web page refers to Sanitas doesn't it?  If I am right, then Sanitas is the European arm of BUPA and I know several people signed up with them. Costs seem fair.
