Just looking into these. Anyone got any opinion or suggest any better ones? Mr GSD rates Halifax Clarity but just checking the market.
I use 2 euro cards.
Caxton as it allows free withdrawal in euros from ATM`s

FairFX as it has a better rate than most cards (including Caxton) Use FX for shops, meals and anywhere that accepts card.

Depends what you want them for. I have a FairFX card, others have a card called Caxton..The advantage, I find, is that you can load the card when the exchange rate is favourable and just leave it on the card. Seeing as how interest rates are close to zero, nothing is lost by tying the money up.
Some have different charges such as drawing out at atm`s, although we only use it for goods and services so pay no fees. Check the terms.Whatever you do don`t pay for one, there are plenty of free deals about :

Hope this helps :D
I have a Halifax Clarity card. Works well & better rates than using a uk debit card. Just recently got a Revolut card, better rate for transfers than anything else I have seen. Will be trying it out on next trip. You load it with £'s online & it gives best transfer rate & no charges I believe
Hi ,
We have a WeSWAP card .
Have a look on moneysavingexpert.com
We've used a Caxton card in the past and have always found it easy to use and have recently had the Halifax Clarity card and won't look back as the rates are excellent. I have the Halifax app on my phone so I can see what exchange rate has been used usually within minutes of the transaction taking place. It helps you keep track of spending.
Thank for replys guys. Will look into all those. Mr. GSD sticking with Halifax. I only use for food shopping and cash withdrawal for spending money. Mr. GSD settles the copious restuarant and bar bills :D
