Just wondering whether anyone has been to the Movistar shop lately to get a new Sim card. What paperwork do you need to take with you?
I need to change from Micro Sim to Nano Sim.
I have it in my head that Passport and NIE was what I took last time. :-\
Be brave and trim your SIM yourself, then you won't need any paperwork! ;D
Just done the same thing, moving a sim from an iPhone 4s to a 6s. A good pair of scissors and the job was done in 2 mins. There are lots of YouTube clips that over complicate trimming and thinning. All I did was trim, there was no need to thin.
I did this a couple of months ago as well. Best way is to get a sim converter set Mark yours with the frame for the nano size, cut down to outside the line then file to finish with a fine file. Hope this helps
Scissors it is then. I have a nano sim for my UK network so can use that as a template. :o
Just be careful as the chip isn't necessarily in the same place on your different SIMs. Oh, and don't sneeze as you cut!
I've ordered a Sim cutter off Ebay for a couple of quid. Wish me luck. :o
Hi Deso
I had a sim cutter a few years ago and didn't find it particularly good. As Tamara said there can be slight discrepancies in the position of the chip on the sim. If you have any old sims you could practise with first, I would advise it. I found scissors, far more reliable than the sim cutter.
Good luck
