Title: EASY JET BOARDING PASSES.
Post by: ianflyinghigh on October 23, 2016, 10:57:49 AM
Can someone please advise us. We are flying easyjet to Fuerte in a few weeks. First time using them. We have boarding passes downloaded to our mobile, but do you still need to print boarding passes off? They appear to be telling us we do. So why have them on our mobile if this is the case?

Can't think why you would need to print them off, unless the UK departure airport can't process mobile boarding passes. Fuerteventura airport can - I've used them on occasion. Easyjet had a list of Airports not accepting Mobile passes on their site, but as far as I remember you weren't offered that option if your trip involved an airport unable to process them. P.S. Don't forget to charge your phone    ;D

I would also print copies off as well..Belt and braces I know but if the electronic system, breaks down or gets lost or broken or otherwise just doesn`t work, you`ll still be up the creek but will have a reliable paddle to get you out..Better safe than sorry

I'll second that, nice to have the good old bit of paper to wave, particularly if they would want to charge you to print passes off.
I think someone posted about this with Ryanair who charged someone because the system was 'down'.

It appears now Easyjet do not give the passenger the option of printing off boarding passes, unless they are flying from an airport that does not accept the mobile boarding pass. Just thought people would like to know this.

Eh? they did last week. As a non smart phone owner, and I`m reasonably sure I`m not in a minority, I printed off the boarding passes and chopped off the big advert, what you are left with is half the size.

Just checked their site and yes you can still print off boarding passes. If you go back into `manage my bookings` section you should find the option. The confusion may have arisen from checking in with the App, which may well give you a set of different instructions.

Yes I checked in using their 'app' which specifically says you don't need to 'print off' boarding passes. Thanks for that clarity.

Just booked with EJ and downloaded a PDF of our boarding passes to print-off.

Old fashioned?
