Can anyone please advise me, i have a friend with brain tumor terminal, his wife pays for help 2 times a day but is now at the stage where full time support more or less is required, the doctor had him admitted to hospital but 4 hours latter he was returned to home, reason given it is a social condition not medical, she is now looking for more or less full time help, i would add he is 6.3 she is 5.2 and a third of his weight. any sensible help please,
Social Services are best bet. Each town hall will have a department. Legal residency would be required.
The Red Cross might be worth checking also. There's a lot of them not doing very much.

Thanks for that, they both have had residencia for 10 years i have approached town hall and no joy, i cannot find red cross. but thanks anyway for taking the time to reply.

If living in Puerto del Rosario muncipality, they do provide home help and cater for the needs of the individual. It's their job. same for the rest of the island.
The problem will be the length of time to set it all up.
