Post by: Ole Man River on August 12, 2016, 12:43:15 PM
Does anyone know any more about this. Believe it's due about now? Usually quite good here I think.View in the west without any light interference?
Thanks. 8)

Look between about 11pm and dawn for the best view with as little light pollution as possible. Should be around 100 per hour. They originate in NE but can be anywhere in the sky.  Good luck

It was last night, but I never saw any  :-X.

There's a group of Stargazers that go down to that Ancient Settlement (Poblado de La Atalayita:) in Pozo Negro to watch these things, due to the pure Black Sky there.
They take sun-beds so they can lie on their backs and watch the sky   8)
