Caleta isn't exactly naturist friendly, hope you've rented a car!

I understand this is off topic, but I'm curious - what is the appeal of Caleta de Fuste? Is it low pricing for apartments?

I think you will find Caleta has the same attraction as any other holiday location in Fuerteventura. Regular flights over the location would put us off if we were looking for an apartment , every flight into the island goes over it. It is definitely not a place for naturists.

We are in agreement here. It isn't LHR, but who needs the extra jet fuel dumping on them?

Unfortunately not enough of textiles recognize that 99.999% of the world is sufficiently prudish for them. Indeed, by the standards of many cultures, most British bathers are practically obscene in attire.

To those of you who are cover your own body and prefer other to do the same I will not demand that you modify your feeling. I only ask, if you recognize the tyranny of the majority, please leave a microscopic part of the Earth to those of us who experience biochemical relaxation through the form of non-societal conformity - that is of being clothing-free.

Central location for seeing all this lovely island
Cinema
Bowling alley
Casino
Soon to be best TOWN beach
Great quality hotels
10 mins from airport (dont understand the problem with aircraft, its only direct overhead a few properties)
Clean(er) streets
Grass
two nice golf courses

Its has faults , nowhere is perfect on this island

I'm sure I'm not typical, but I can't imagine coming to this lovely island and then spending my time in a cinema, bowling alley or casino.  I can do that in England if I want to. But I can't visit sunny naturist beaches in England (... or in Caleta!).

My view is that if you feel a need to spend your time indoors with your eyes open, you have missed the best reasons to be in Fuerteventura.

Caleta for the night life then drive to the naturist beaches at Corralejo Cotillo or Jandia

There is a nice remote black beach down beyond the salt museum though but not too easy to get to.

In other words: perfectly OK if you like to drive to the beach but not so good if your preference is to walk naked from your breakfast table to the sea for your first swim of the morning.

Afraid so JG.
We will be in Caleta 10th to 17th visiting the odd drinking establishments in the evenings :)
Then driving to the naturist beaches elsewhere during the day.
