ZKTV are not unique, expensive Yes, but not unique - they're just one of 100's of suppliers who can provide a stream to your MAG box.
I'm currently using an alternative provider on the same Mag250 box - it looks and works exactly like ZKTV - that offers all the live UK TV I need, plus 7-day Catch-Up, plus Sports (with every single Premiership game available live), plus Movies, all for £17 a month.
Some pointers...
Try it first... Most reputable providers will let you have a free trial for testing purposes.
Switching from ZKTV to another provider is as easy as changing the server address in the MAG box settings.
To change provider...
Contact the supplier, they can provide the specific info you need, as well as step-by-step instructions. It should be as simple as...
1. Power off and power on MAG box 2.Click System Settings 3.Click Servers 4.Click Portals 5. Add server address provided by supplier 6.Click OK 7.Power off and power on MAG box.
That's it. Done. And of course you can switch back to ZKTV just as easily.
Most services on the MAG 250 will look pretty similar, and work almost identically to ZKTV - it's just cheaper.
Alternative subscription services offering reliable MAG box and/or Kodi streams...
Here's a reasonably up to date Blog that compares the service of a number of providers - http://pwwtech.blogspot.com.es/2016/02/iptv-providers.html - most of these offer paid services for both MAG box and Kodi. And Yes, I know you can get Kodi streams free, but the free ones are often worth exactly what you pay for them.
You'll note that all of them are considerably cheaper than ZKTV, and in many cases they also include the stuff that ZKTV charge more for, such as Catch-Up, Movies and Sports.
At time of writing I can personally recommend NTV, MBOX and RuyaXL.
Alternatively you could try using this info to negotiate a cheaper ZKTV deal :P
Thanks for that Ironworks. I've been using a similar option since December that cost me 240 Euros for the year and it's been brilliant. Movie store, catch up tv, all the English Premiership games live on a Saturday, exercise videos (who needs them). If you're returning to the UK you can take it back there to use also though I haven't tried this yet.
Good to get another price alternative though! :)
