Title: Movistar
Post by: cphoto on March 07, 2016, 12:47:13 PM
Hi,
Has anyone had luck in booking a new Internet /phone line, using the Movistar web site or is better to wait until we are over and go into the local Movistar shop in Corralejo
Thanks

I don't know if there's any truth in it, but I did hear rumours that the site will slap on VAT (IVA in Spanish) and then you have to fight to get it removed. The shop doesn't.

Yes, same here. i went into Movistar shop and we were up and running the same week, with 7% IGIC as opposed to 21% IVA.   :D

Glenys, are you up and running yet?

I recently signed up at the Movistar shop in Corralejo. There is one lady there who is keen to practice her English and I found her really helpful and efficient.

Having said that, the engineer hasn't turned up yet!
