Two of the five wind farms declared as strategic investment interest have asked the Directorate General of Industry, Government of Canarias the respective regulatory approvals and environmental impact statements. Among both add 30 megawatts.
Public information are the applications of two new wind farms in Fuerteventura: the trade winds, with a power of ten megawatts; Rosa and Catalina Garcia, 20 megawatts. These are two of the five wind projects that the Canary Islands Government declared investments of strategic interest on 6 November.
With this declaration of strategic interest, in the Canary Islands were 18 wind farms, the Executive halved administrative deadlines for their implementation on the basis of Law 3/2015 on preferred processing of strategic investments for the Canaries. It also reduces to 50% the limits for the future granting of licenses for both projects.
20 megawatts in Tuineje. In the municipality of Tuineje wind farm Rosa Catalina Garcia, 20 MW divided into four 5,000 kW wind turbines each, whose budget amounts to EUR 20-758692 is located.
Among other characteristics, the project also includes the construction of four processing centers located 5,260 kilovolts inside each mill and a transformer substation megavoltiamperios 25, and a transformer for auxiliary services 50 kilovolts. The park also provides that, by interfering with an airline of average tension, the burial of the sections affected and aerosubterránea four supports conversion is expected.
All these details are given in the announcement of the Directorate General of Industry and Energy of the Government published last November 27 in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), for which the period of public information is open for 23 days from the day following its publication. The project is available on the City of Tuineje, the Cabildo and the headquarters of industry in Las Palmas.
Eleven million euro budget. The Alisio project, ten megawatts, to be located particularly in the nose of the Black Knife: In two other wind farm municipalities whose application for administrative license and environmental impact statement is submitted to public information is located. It has five mills 2,000 kilowatts each and a transformer substation 15 megavoltiamperios, among other specifications. The budget amounts to 11,290,398 euros. The announcement of the application filed by Industry contained in BOC from November 25. Interested parties have 15 days to make representations to this project.

I think there's a hill known as "Cuchillo Negro" or Black Knife to the north of Cardon village.
