Looks like  naturism is still going strong here  :)

Very quiet in the evenings though

Went today....couldnt believe how busy beaches were. Campers all over and hardly a naturist to be seen. Can anyone suggest a beach that isnt packed with textiles or somewhere to spend a day or two where naturists not in minority. Preferably in the north. Cheers! Perhaps any naturists would like to meet up. Anyone?

Spirefolks - I'm afraid you went there in August which is the month of the total Spanish and Italian textile invasion.
We have never been there to see it but have been warned against it by the El Cotillo locals many times.

We must agree with JG and had been told previously of this situation. We understand this "season" starts in Mid July to end of August. Although we dont go on holiday in August we visited a couple of years ago in July and found the usual naturist places, (the Lagoons, Flag beach at Corralejo and even Sotavento) were very naturist limited. If the lagoons are textile we can only suggest the flag beach on the dunes at Corralejo will still have some naturist sunbeds but not sure.

See my August review from last year here -> http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/index.php?topic=20765.0 (http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/index.php?topic=20765.0)

IMO there is no 'season'. Naturists can be their own worst enemies. Fuerte is just fine with folks stripping off, so why bother counting folks who would rather be cossied? If Fuerte ever gets to the point naturism is genuinely off-limits because of a shift in cossied/naturism balance  and therefore 'accepted culture' then it will be just as much the fault of the naturists as it will be the 'textiles'.

Plenty of naturists to the right of the two big hotels in Corralejo.   As Nike sport day 'just do it'.  Be the leader - set an example -  pretty sure others will follow.
