Where do people think that property prices are in their cycle?
Have they bottomed or are there still really low priced properties available?
Bit of a mixed picture?

If you are looking to purchase treebol66 and want an honest answer about anything relating to property on Fuerteventura, put your questions to Nick at Goldacre Estates - Corralejo. As estate agents go, Nick is probably the most honest salesman I have met (I have dealt with a lot) he will tell you how it is and point you in the right direction.
If you really want a property, and have the money, there are a lot of bargains to be had in the Corralejo area.
They really do seem to be starting to rise a little. Difficult to prove, but one thing I'm sure of: places are starting to shift quickly now. We've seen loads of places sold lately around us at Tamaragua, for instance. I'm not sure owners increased the prices, but they certainly didn't lower them any more lately. So what we've got now is fewer places for sale - meaning more chance of prices rising. And with long-term rental property as scarce as hens' teeth, loads of expats planning to come to live here, the recession pretty much over (at least here) with private businesses back investing, and the fact that it seems that many, if not most, properties will probably be allowed to be rented out legally to holidaymakers... maybe we'll be in for a real hike. Who knows though? I certainly don't.
Hi, how much are two beds and pool going for. :-[
First of all which area? Second, plenty to find if you Google property for sale in Fuerteventura.

If you find the right button in the Kyero website it tells you how much for a range of properties (eg 1bed, 2 bed 3 bed, etc) for about the last decade.

Thanks we are thinking Tamaragua,
I actually have one to sell. It would help if the situation had been settled so that renting a place out on a tourist complex was clearly allowed by law.

The current law that is now being questioned has nothing to do with tourist complexes, they are still under their own law.
You can only legally rent out, short term, on a tourist complex via a sole agent who must have more than 50% of the complexes apartments on their books.
Just to expand slightly on Deso's reply - this is taken from Janet Anscombe's site (albeit this comment is several months old):
•If you have a touristic property, you cannot let it out privately for holiday lets. This is fundamentally banned by tourism legislation which requires lets to be operated through the sole agency system â€" and deems any lets under 3 months to be touristic, and now complemented by the new regulation which says that VV lets must not be in touristic areas. Touristic property owners can either let out for holidays through their on-site sole agent, or via a temporada contract of between 3 months and a year. Fines for general infractions of these aspects of tourism legislation fall into the “serious†band, and so range from â,¬1,500 to â,¬30,000 â€" they are typically â,¬15,000 -18,000 or so.
To clarify touristic and non-touristic areas, these are “areas†not complexes. This will be officially clarified in due course, but I fully expect it to be a definition based on the land classification in an ayuntamiento`s PGO (general planning arrangements).
I think a lot of people have confused 'Touristic complexes' with 'Touristic areas' - 2 totally different things.
Guess the price increase for property recently is down to exchange rate

I don't know what percentage of buyers are in the GBP area, but it's certainly nowhere near that important.
I can´t see that having too big an effect, but the rate has improved over the previous twelve months. It seems to be trending downwards again at the moment.
If anyone know of a nice 2 or 3 bed coming up for sale on tamarague please pm me as I am on the look out!
