Hi
I need to pay a couple of Endesa bills for an absent neighbour tomorrow and just assumed I could go into my bank to do so but someone I was speaking to today said this could only be done on certain days of the month. Is that really the case and if so, is it the same dates in all the different banks or do they all have their own variations? If appropriate then does anyone know when these dates are, especially for Sabadell?
Thanks in advance for any help.
I can only speak for Banca March which does not seem to have this system. But I know others do and on those days it is a nightmare I am told!!!
I didn't know that you could pay Endesa through the bank. Some years back I had to bring my Endesa receipt to their office to get a bill with a barcode and then pay it in Correos in Puerto del Rosario. Let me know how you get on, for future reference, thanks in advance.
Thanks for the replies.
Very helpful young lady in Endesa who spoke good English printed me a slip with a barcode that she said to take to the Correos to pay. The slip also quoted several banks where it could be paid. However she also showed me how to pay online using a debit/credit card so that is what I did to save any possible queues at Correos/wrong days at bank etc.
Word of warning re paying online using debit/credit card; by all means view the pages in English to see what you need to do but then change back to Spanish to make the actual payment as there is an error on the translated card detail input page which prevents the payment being completed!
(I was very surprised and pleased to find no queue in the Endesa office, mid-morning on a Monday. Don't know if it was pure luck or an improvement in their systems but it was most welcome.)
