BUT NOT FOR THE BEACHES OF FUERTEVENTURA:
A private Security Company, Grupo Record, has recruited 20 new lifeguards to work at the Acua Water Park in Corralejo, between March and November, whilst the Beaches remain as unsafe as ever.
Why aren't the relative Cabildos doing the same.
"Group Record, a company owned by CIO Group, has recently signed an important agreement with the waterpark in Fuerteventura, ACUA WATER PARK located in Corralejo, the result of which has increased its workforce with 20 new lifeguards who shall serve at the water park between the months of March and November
Record Group is responsible for the recruitment, hiring and training of lifeguards by arranging a call through its web and social networks to participate in the selection trials were held last March 24 at the premises of Aqua Water Park" .

There used to be a lifeguard who chugged up and down on a quad bike around Esquinzo beach. Not seen him in a few years.
