I downloaded an app called Rutea Canarias (Android). It shows trails for the various islands. There is a GPS feature but can't test it from home. The trails are divided into North,central and south of the island. Included for the south are the trail to Cofette and the Pico.
Maybe I won't get lost ;D
It would be better if the app let you pick a starting point .

Take a look at "Map My Walk" I know its on Android but not sure about Apple.
Interesting. Downside it seems those routes only go along the coast. The other app has the routes going across the island.
