Title: Solicitor recommendations
Post by: craigjax on February 25, 2015, 15:16:32 PM
Hi, we are currently house hunting in Fuerteventura, we have opened a bank account and are looking for a good English speaking solicitor.  We would appreciate any recommendations.

We used Napoleon Gonzalaz in Rosario... comes highly recommended... reasonable rates and very hard working and honest

I've also heard good things of Napoleon Gonzalez, seems popular with satisfied clients. To add another choice, I'd recommend Aguado, Damsell y Reguera in Correlejo, whom we used for our own house purchase in Caleta. Very professional and reassuring, and English-speaking. Good luck, whoever you use!

We used Glex and Co in Rosario who were fine...and English speaking.
Good luck with the purchase and I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did!

I recommend Aguado Damsell y Reguera also, over the last 10 years I have purchased 2 properties and sold one, used Jacobo each time with power of attorney. Excellent service and reasonably priced.

We used Napoleon recently, as did my sister in law... Have only good things to say about him... he goes to every effort to make the purchase as straight forward as possible...

Bought two houses with the aid of ADR and made Spanish wills  - no complaints.

I'd also add, as in the UK, I wouldn't use the same firm as the seller or the one recommended by the estate agent.
